What a difference a week makes....

Wow all I have to say is what a difference a week makes. Our family has grown!  We are now a family of four, instead of a family of three.  And before you ask, no I didn't have a baby! I am chubby enough to look like I was full term, but NO! NO BABY!!!  We took custody of my husbands niece, so now we have a 14 year old girl! WOW! I have two teenagers now, holy cow!  WOW!!!!  I just realized we are parenting two teenagers...pray for us! Its me and Ernie against them!

We are starting out on this little adventure in our lives. I am not sure we could have handled a baby anyway. I like my sleep! I definitely think babies are a young persons thing, I can say that now as I have entered into my 40th year, I love sleep and I love kids that can take care of themselves for the most part and be helpful to me.  I went through the babyish stage with Preston and all of the early years and I am enjoying him now he's got such a great personality and I believe we are doing our job of raising him to be a good functioning member of society.  And now we get to raise Jetara, she's a good girl and I think she's already on her way to becoming a good woman.  Now we just need to teach her all her skills to be a good Crow woman, beading, frybread making, sewing, etc.  This is an adventure one we are are looking forward too!

Post a little post a lot....

Blogging..hmmm I have decided to give this a try.  To get my information and pictures out there to people I know. To keep family and friends and occasional readers updated on the who's, what's, when's, where's and why's of my bear family.

Who am I?  Oh this could be a loaded philosophical question. But the information you probably want to know is really who am I.  My name is Dulcie, I live in Montana, I am married and am raising one terrific kiddo.  I work.  I go to grad school. I craft and scrapbook.  And I hate being a domestic diva. I have decided that I need to win the lottery and have a maid. Until that time I guess I just have to work for a living and clean my own house begrudgingly.
